It\u2019s the<strong> fire<\/strong> within which drives motivation to act. Whether it be pick up a brush,&nbsp; get off the couch, implement a healthy goal or design a business plan.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" viewed as external such as: \u2018a beautiful sunset inspires an artist to paint.\u2019 Yet, if an artist isn\u2019t emotionally invested, the painting will fail to connect the viewer, and its likely the brush won\u2019t be picked up at all.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inspiration is internal, it\u2019s all about emotional connection.&nbsp;Love is at the core, and that incredible feeling is transferable to all you wish to pursue.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For or me it\u2019s often not direct, a conversation with my nephew will inspire me to pick up the brush as much as walking in nature.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" fuels intrinsic motivation, and this sense of internal purpose keeps one on track for the long run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And my friend, a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dawnbanning.com\/newsblog\/daily-work\/\">career<\/a>in art is so much about endurance to stay the course, despite criticism, negative judgement, business overwhelm, financial stress, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maintaining creative flow may not require adding more artistic pursuits such as workshops, field studies, studio work, art talks, collaboration with colleagues, videos, creative books, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It can be beneficial to subtract activity\u2026. like all of the above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Immerse not in work, but in nature.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Study not subject matter, but people, a new language, happenings upon in your daily wanderings.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Listen not to podcasts but songbirds.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Disconnect from technology, instead connect with family, friends, the earth.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Challenge yourself not in brush but exercise techniques.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Wander favourite trails without camera, notepad, book, music or sketchbook.
